Review:

This album is thee next step in Elektra’s transformation of The Old 97’s from alt.country barn burners to AAR pop mainstays. What is amazing is that Miller’s voice and charm can make pop music worthwhile.

The album is lacking musically, settling for bland pop beats and backing chords when you just know a song would sizzle if it had that old Old 97’s barroom swagger, but Miller pulls it off nonetheless.

The best pop voice of a generation.
