2005 was a great year for music. There were lots of
great CDs released, and the year also saw growth in
the download market.
I do have a list of my own to add this year:
Brendan's Top 5 Atlanta Bands To Look Out For in
2006:
- Luigi -- A truly great live act. I expect more
wonderful performances from these people.
- The Orphins -- New album anytime now!
- Sleep Therapy -- A young band, with chops.
- The Jupiter Watts -- Now a supergroup involving
the original guitarists plus Envie's old rhythm section.
They should rock even harder now.
- The Shut Ups -- Hopefully the new album will be
released, and they will record what has become my
personal theme song, their live favorite, I Hate People.
Anyway, enjoy the lists. And I hope that you look
forward to 2006 as much as I do! |
