2006 has come and gone. Thanks goodness. Am I the
only invertebrate here who thinks that this was a relatively
dull and pointless year? Well, how about you vetebrates
-- was it good for the spined set?
Anyway, my Minions have summed up the year for you.
There was no real consensus among the population this
year, but here are a few albums that we all seem to
like:
Not that any of my slacker Minions
bothered to review these records (except for Dilletantte
in Distress -- she gets a biscuit while the rest
of you can STARVE!), but if you take any recommendation
home from all of this, it is these four records.
Also, i am very pleased to post
some writing from genuine, certified, post-punk legend,
Colin Newman (of Wire, Githead,
etc.). Mr. Newman helps me out by offering some recommendations.
